Vigil for the Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, was celebrated at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church at 4:00pm on Saturday, December 24, 2011. 
 
Our little temple was beautfiully appointed with poinsettias and lit only with candles as dusk began to set. Nearly 40 worshippers attended the Vigil which began with a General Confession. The choir, co-directed by Mr Jason Geeza and assisted by his wife, Denise, sang prayerfully and very much from their hearts. Altar servers Nik Hutnik, Michael Dolan, and Ziv Kaputa assisted in the altar.
 
In addition to our own parishioners, we were visited Jim & Marge Dolan, parents of Robert Dolan, from New Jersey; Mr Josiah Sinchuk, son of Mr Nicholas Sinchuk, from San Francisco, CA; Mrs Sonja Mobilio, mother of Christina Carmon, from Cape Cod, MA;Mr & Mrs John Matcheson from Saints Cyril & Methodius Church, Terryville, CT; and Mrs Daria Biancardi from nearby Glastonbury, CT.
 
The Holy Trinity Choir sang several Christmas Carols at the conclusion of Vigil.
