Holy Trinity's vision statement is simple: Mission.Mercy.Ministry. These 3 pillars are guideposts that help us define who we are as a community. Of those pillars - Ministry - is one where parishioners get involved to support the ongoing cycle of worship and church operations. Maintaining and strengthening ourselves and temple are crucial components that enable our community to be able to fulfill our mission and provide mercy to those surrounding us.
In fact, this is how we've defined Ministry: To further our mission by establishing and maintaining educational programs and activities designed to build our spiritual lives; as well as the preservation and beautification of our temple.
One of our most successful ministries, led by Merci Matcheson, concerns Prosphora Bread. But what is Prosphora Bead? What is its significance? Why is it important to Orthodox worship? How is it made?
Those questions, and more, are answered in our web page dedicated to Prosphora Bread.
Click Prosphora Bread to be redirected to the web page and enjoy reading contributions from Merci Matcheson and UCONN OCF student John Lardas.
