It is with sadness, yet with joy in the Resurrection, that Holy Trinity sends its condolences to all those in the Diocese of New England (Orthodox Church in America), and those in the Albanian Archdiocese as well, on the recent death of its Archpastor & Chief Shepherd, His Eminence, Archbishop Nikon (Liolin).

"I am sorry to hear that Archbishop Nikon passed," Holy Trinity parishioner Mary Ellen Junda reacted when she learned the news. "He was a very spiritual person and his preaching was profound and inspiring. May his memory be eternal." Holy Trinity Parish Council President, Timothy Fetzko added, "He was not only our spiritual leader but a warm and genuine man. I will always remember how he treated our children, especially the young altar servers...he always made them feel special and appreciated. I will miss his visits." Mr. Fetzko has had the pleasure of photographing a number of Archbishop Nikon's visits. Nearly every year since 2012 he has been able to capture wonderful moments through pictures. The three most recent trips His Eminence had made to Holy Trinity were for three significant events in the 103-year history of our church. In 2016, he was with us for our Centennial Anniversary, then the following year, 2017, he consecrated a new altar built by parishioner, Jon Matcheson, then lastly, in October, 2019, for the Blessing Service of our ten new icons, each measuring 28 x 67".
