The Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Willimantic, Connecticut, concluded its Holy Week services the with Resurrection Divine Liturgy on the night of Holy Pascha, attended by seventy-five faithful souls. The joy each person experienced that evening will surely carry us through the entire season of Pascha.

The build up to Holy Week began on Lazarus Saturday & Palm Sunday with the Chrismation of Mr. Spencer Elliott who had been a Catechumen for nine months.

The Holy Week services began on Holy Thursday with the reading of the Twelve Passion Gospels, followed by the Vespers & Entombment of our Lord on Great & Holy Friday. Our community then gathered early Saturday morning for the Vesperal Liturgy of Saint Basil the Great which included the reading of the 15 Old Testament Readings, then culminated on Saturday evening with Nocturn, Resurrection Matins and Divine Liturgy to celebrate our Lord's victory over death and the establishment of his heavenly and eternal Kingdom.

Each of these services were well attended where each person is valued and affirmed.

Holy Trinity is an inclusive community of individuals and families. Some have been members for years, while many are newer or just beginning to explore Orthodoxy. We welcome families, college students, and adults - young and mature. Age has no bearing at Holy Trinity and there is a place for each person in our community. Our choir is growing and excellent, and many young children and teens serve with devotion and attentiveness in the altar.
